The Capichera Bianco from the winery of the same name has been, since the 1980s, one of the first high quality Italian white wines. Produced by Vermentino in purity , it is assembled with wines from individual selected vineyards. One of the first Vermentino's ever to age in barriques, undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages for up to 6 months in precisely new or semi-new barriques . The result is a straw color with golden reflections, very complex on the nose, wild flowers, wisteria, rosemary, lavender, thyme, flint and tropical fruit. On the palate it is full and enveloping despite being a dry wine, reconfirming the scents of the olfactory examination. Harmonious , it has a long and persistent finish where minerality and flavor remain impressed.
