Bastianich

The Bastianich winery was founded in 1997 in the Colli Orientali del Friuli area where all the 35 hectares of vineyards are currently located. The Bastianich winery was born with the aim of learning and exploiting the history of the area (which has been practicing viticulture since the 2nd century BC) and giving that personal touch that can add innovation to history to create the right balance between tradition and novelty . The harvest is completely manual and only the time and rhythm of the soil is followed, which is cultivated with passion and dedication. The 35 hectares of land are divided into two different vineyards: the first on the Buttrio hills and the second on the hills of Cividale del Friuli. The first vineyard supplies grapes for full-bodied and structured wines such as Vespa Bianco and Vespa Rosso; the second vineyard, influenced by the cold, produces more aromatic wines. Joe Bastianich qualifies Bastianich wines as complex and personal and reveals his favorite wine: it is the Vespa Bianca composed of Chardonnay, Sauvignon and Picolit. Despite its relatively recent history, the Bastianich winery has proven to be synonymous with quality and elegance to try at any cost. The prestige of the Bastianich company is recognized throughout the world thanks in particular to wines like the Plus which the Bastianich family is very fond of. From the preparation of the soil to the harvest, every detail is taken care of and carefully followed in order to guarantee the quality that has always distinguished them.
