Ca' Del Bosco

1964: Annamaria Clementi Zanella buys a house in the woods in Erbusco, in the province of Brescia, unaware of the fact that this purchase would have changed the life of her family and of Italian wine-growing. In 1968 the first 10,000 vineyard vines were planted per hectare (the first in Italy) thanks to Antonio Grandossi, a tireless worker who served until his death in 2011. Annamaria's son, Maurizio Zanella, falls madly in love with the house in the woods and vineyards; after a trip to Champagne, he returned to Italy with one goal: to transform the house into the forest into an innovative wine-growing company, thus Ca 'Del Bosco was born . Between 1972 and 1975 the first white and red wines are produced. In 1976 the harvest brings to light the first three sparkling wines. The quality of the wines and sparkling wines of the Ca 'Del Bosco farm increases exponentially thanks to the involvement of André Dubois: thanks to him the first Franciacorta Pinot Millesimato is born . The company is constantly growing and its quality is also recognized outside national borders. 2007 is the year of the turning point for the Ca 'Del Bosco cellars which produces its Cuvée Prestige , which is still the flagship of the company and a great achievement and success. Almost 185 hectares of vineyards and an infinite passion have made Ca 'Del Bosco the excellence we know today.
