Chartogne Taillet

The Chartogne-Taillet winery stands on the slopes of the Saint Thierry massif. Just north of Reims, but with one of the most rigid climates in the area. The hectares of property are 11, divided into 26 parcels. The average age of the vines is 25 years. It is important to note that this maison has banned chemicals and machinery that could somehow affect the soil, such as those used for harvesting, which can press it, reducing its ability to absorb water. The final products are a range of Champagne produced with natural and traditional methods , with a unique and refined taste: the great expression of the village of Merfy and its microparcellar plots.
