Conte Brandolini D'adda

The Vistorta estate is a small village belonging to the properties of the Brandolini family and has become a winery since 1780. Guido Brandolini created the company but it is thanks to Brandino Brandolini that it came to glory. Brandino studies around the world, first in Paris and then in Texas where he studies his own agriculture, but it is the return to Venice that makes him fall in love with wine and work in the vines definitively: he decides so, thanks also to the expert oenologist's advice George Pauli, to jump into the wine-making experience and, precisely, to cultivate Merlot grapes. His investment will prove to be successful: Vistorta wines are part of the Italian scene and are appreciated all over the world. Of the 220 hectares that occupy the estate, 40 are occupied by vines: 33 of these are cultivated with red grapes and 90% Merlot. Most of the red grapes are grown in Vistorta, where there are also the ancient cellars with the instruments of the time; the white grapes instead are cultivated mainly in Cordignano, where there are new cellars with the most modern wine-making facilities. Vistorta still remains a family-run company, all united by a passion for wine and the dream that still unites them: to bring the family name, and consequently their wines, to an ever higher level.
