The name Cervaro derives from the noble family that owned the Castello della Sala during the 14th century: the Monaldeschi della Cervara. The Antinori family bought the estate in 1940. Cervaro in the dining room is the symbol of the estate, has won numerous awards and has won several important awards for its consistently demonstrated quality. Produced from Chardonnay and Grechetto grapes, it refines 5 months in barriques , before completing its aging with another 10 months in the bottle in the suggestive medieval cellars of the castle. Brilliant straw yellow color, the nose arrives with citrus and exotic fruit notes. In the mouth freshness and flavor stand out, accompanied by a good persistence.
