ThisChianti Classico Riserva comes from the vineyards of the historic Tenuta di Nozzole farm, in the municipality of Greve in Chianti, in the province of Florence. The ancient Tenuta di Nozzole dates back to around 1300 and has always been famous for producing excellent wines.
Mainly produced with Sangiovese grapes and complementary vines, this wine was born following the grape harvest in the second half of October. The aging of the wine lasts for more than a year in Slavonian oak barrels and French oak barrels. Once the wooden aging phase is over, the wine is bottled and continues its refinement for at least 6 months.
Characterized by a splendid deep ruby red color, it is a wine with distinctly fruity olfactory scents. The aroma of ripe fruits and fruit compote, thanks to the long aging in cask, is enriched by woody notes, typical of toasted wood. On the palate it is full, dry, characterized by soft tannins.
