In the imposing production of Castello Banfi there are five types of Chianti that meet the needs of the most diverse clientele, all united by a single common denominator: the search for quality in the unmistakable corporate style. This bottle does not betray the expectations and represents the first step of the Chianti universe. Bright ruby color with purple hues. Nose imbued with sensations of ripe red fruit, vegetable touches, mace and black peppercorns. The compact and substantial taste represents the aromatic intertwining of fruit and spices up to a tannic epilogue barely dry. On Tuscan crostini and medium-aged cheeses but also with first courses based on ragu and mixed grills.
