Guado Al Tasso Bolgheri Magnum 2017

The Guado al Tasso Bolgheri wine is produced in the homonymous estate near Bolgheri, on the Tuscan coast, just south of Florence. The hectares of vineyards are 300 and are set in the middle of soft hills that surround a splendid plain that slopes down to the sea and creates a microclimate with unique characteristics. Guado al Tasso , wine "flag" of the estate, expresses all the strength and softness of this strip of Maremma. It has contributed to elevating Bolgheri among the most important areas of wine-making Europe, expressing a distinctly Mediterranean character of power, elegance and balance. Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and sometimes a small part of Petit Verdot, to represent the elegance, complexity and structure of the Bolgheri terroir. The first production dates back to almost 30 years ago, in 1990. It refines for 24 months between barrique and bottle to get a unique facet! Characterized by a rich and complex boquet, hints of tobacco and toasts stand out, accompanied by small ripe fruits. Well present tans and freshness give the wine an excellent liveliness, as well as giving it excellent aging qualities. Fragrant and intense, it is a wine of excellent persistence.
