Ferrari Perlé Rosé 2008 is a Trentodoc from Cantina Ferrari obtained from the selection of two grapes: Chardonnay 20% and Pinot Nero 80%. The grapes are grown exclusively in the area on the slopes of the Trento mountains in the Lunelli family estates at an optimal height for grape ripening. The slow and cured maturation of the grapes takes place over 5 years and then passes to a period of rest in the bottle.
Tasting notes - The color of Ferrari Perlé Rosé is antique pink, a synthesis of elegance and refinement, the perlage is persistent and very fine. On the nose the bouquet is rich in aromas, mainly small ripe fruits: wild strawberries and raspberries, currants and citrus fruits and rose. The taste is refined and well structured: the harmony of the flavors is based on sweet almonds and spicy notes.
The Ferrari Perlé Rosé offers a varied combination with typical dishes of the Mediterranean culture: cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, basil. An interesting combination is offered by the Ferrari chef Alfio Ghezzi, it is a pairing with Neapolitan pizza based on cherry tomatoes, fiordilatte mozzarella and fresh basil. The sparkling wine also goes very well with meat, for example a Milanese cutlet with lemon.
