Tormaresca Fiano "Roycello" 2016

The Salento Tormaresca Calafuria of the Marchesi Antinori was born in the homonymous estate, owned by the Antinori family and located in Puglia, in the Salento area. It is produced exclusively with Negroamaro grapes, selected by hand, gently de-stemmed and softly pressed. The must obtained is placed in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 10 ° C, to obtain a natural decantation. Subsequently, the alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperatures, 16 ° C, to keep the primary aromas of the vine intact. The wine is then aged briefly in steel and for 4 months in the bottle. Calafuria is a wine with a seductive bright pink color with coral reflections. The nose opens with delicate and pleasantly fruity aromas, including notes of red fruits and raspberry. On the palate it is fresh and sapid, with a perfect balance between softness and acidity. This wine is excellent to accompany delicate pasta dishes based on fish or vegetables. Also ideal in combination with white meats or fish dishes.
