Zenato Classic Amarone Docg is produced by selecting the best grapes of the Costalunga estate, in S. Ambrogio in the classic Valpolicella area . After the manual harvest, the berries are left to rest for 3 to 4 months in small crates in the loft, followed by a soft pressing of the dried grapes. Left to macerate for 15-20 days, they are finally ready to be aged in barriques for a period of 36 months . The final product is a wine of great structure, which combines elegance and complexity. Ruby with garnet reflections has excellent ethereal hints with notes of leather, chocolate and fruit in alcohol. Velvety tannins and excellent flavor.
