Without doubt one of the flagships of the Vignalta cellar. A wine of undoubted quality, the Rosso Gemola derives from a vineyard whose average age of the vines is 22 years and which rises on volcanic soil . Traditionally fermented, it undergoes 4 pumpings per day for 20 days in steel at a controlled temperature. Aged in Tonneau 36 months , then rests another 12 in the bottle before being put on the market.
Dark ruby in color, it has a certainly important fragrance. A splendid herbaceous note is the outline of hints of small red fruits. Important balsamic persistence with slightly bitter but fine tannins. It does not fear aging.
